The capital of Abba Jifar Jima, until 1994 was a capital of kaffa zone.it is the region where coffee is originated &first cultivated in a wild. Essentially 20th century creation, Jima saw a great deal of development during the Italian occupation .But its name derives from that of a much older kingdom whose former capital Jiren lays on the outskirt of the modern city. To take coffee trip in Ethiopia, it is an ideal place to stay a night and head to Surma tribe far southwest of Ethiopia.
